Frankie and Bennies, an American/Italian restaurant, is one of my favourite restaurants. I love the fun but relaxing atmosphere when I go there. They play 1950's music and you can buy the CD's they play. They even have tapes playing in the toilets that translate Italian words into English, so you can home having learned a few new words/phrases. The staff are always very pleasant and inviting, attending to us when needed. I go there so often with my partner that the staff always know what I am going to order now which is a nice feeling, they take note of who you are and remember customers when you go back. In terms of price I would say it is very good. They have a lunch time menu in the week that is very good value- 3 courses for around £9 and even when those kind of offers are not available prices are reasonable, about £8-£10 for a main meal, which I would say is average for a nice restaurant. Overall a very nice restaurant with friendly staff.
