Newest Review: ... and the place was about half full which is pretty good going in the middle of a recession so my expectations were starting to lift. We waited a few minutes for anyone to notice we were there, asked for a table and waited a while longer whilst the waitress consulted the table chart and then were led to a small table for two on the outskirts of the room. Visited Garretts as part of our works christmas night out. I had never been before despite hearing rave reviews, it didnt dissapoint, the service and food were excellent, the atmosphere was great and the night was a great success - well worth a visit!

Last TuesdayI was having a pretty lousy day at work. Meeting after meeting was getting delayed and most of them were getting hijacked by other people's agendas. I was feeling mighty peeved and all I really wanted to do was go home and eat junk food. But unfortunately I'd already promised to take my Belgian colleague Joep out for dinner and I didn't want to let him down. As our meetings droned on and on and the clock ticked past 6 and then 7 pm, the only thought sustaining me was a mental picture of a mountain of Chinese food.
