Advantages: Variety, Taste, Value

Disadvantages: Gets busy

Giraffe is a restaurant chain that can be found in numerous locations. The cuisine served is a range of international dishes.

I find this to be a great way to dine, as you have a variety of different cuisines to choose from so if your present company wishes to have a pizza and you wish to have a thai curry, this can be done.

The menu comprises a variety of starters, main meals and deserts. There is also a brunch menu which is served up until 4pm.

The drinks range is extensive too, from soft drinks to smoothies, to wine and cocktails.

On my last visit, to start I shared the Mezze with warm naan platter which has a variety of little foods such as falafel, haloumi, dips. The portion was average I'd say, as for two it perhaps was not quite enough.
However, the tastes of each item on this platter were bustling and really tasty! I could have kept eating it all evening. The tzatziki was one of my favourites out of them.

For main I ate the Farmers Market Vegetable Burrito. The portion size of this was pretty decent. The taste was really good and the ingredients worked well together. It is definately something I would eat again.

Even though I was feeling pretty full at this point, I opted for a dessert as well to finish off the meal. I chose the Chocolate Chunk Brownie, and it was scrumptious. Needless to say, I ate it all and felt completely satisfied.

The atmosphere whilst dining is quite relaxed, restaurants often are very busy and it has more of a family vibe than a romantic one, nonetheless it is still an enjoyable place to dine.
Children are given some colouring sheets and crayons which should keep them entertained.

Overall, I find the food to be well balanced and pretty healthy. There is also a wide range available at pretty reasonable prices. A main costs around £7.95, which for London is pretty reasonable.

Offers are often available, if you check the website you can find out what offers are on at current stores.

There is also a 'Giraffe Time' menu which is served Mon-Fri between 5pm and 7pm at a cost of £7.25 for a starter+main from a limited menu.

It is very rare that all courses are as enjoyable as in this restaurant. I thoroughly recommend it, for the food more than anything.

Summary: A great way to dine!
