Disadvantages: Starters.

About one year ago a GBK opened up around the corner from us in Beckenham. The wife had raved about it previously and I thought we should pop in just afterwards and give it a go. My verdict? Well we have been there now 10 times in the last year, and each time thoroughly enjoyed it.

What are the positives?
+ Large menu with many wonderful varieties of Burgers and toppings (including exotic meats such as ostrich and venison), but also importantly non burger options as well (salads etc).
+ Cracking chips.
+ Big portions.
+ Meat cooked to order.
+ Value for money (about £6.50 - £8 per burger).
+ Amazing milk shakes.
+ Alcohol available.
+ Quick service.
+ Good garlic mayo (very strong, you will taste it in the morning.)
+ Child portions.
+ Smart decor.
+ Lots of 2 for 1 vouchers around online.
Negatives
- Bit pushy for their starters
- Starters overpriced and disappointing.
Conclusion
GBK is a good choice and is the Pizza Express of burgers. That being it is making fast food with a bit of style, taste and quality. Good place for a date, the family, or even some grub with boys at the beginning of a night out.
