      Advantages

      Disadvantages

      great food

Greens is quite simply the best pizza restaurant in Belfast and very nearly produces the best pizzas in Belfast (in my oppnion that honour goes to Little Italy in Blackstaff Square, but it is not a sit down restaurant!).

Ambience - the atmosphere in Green's is always great. I do not think I can rememeber being there when it was quiet. As it is nearly always the weekend that I have been, I am always shunted across the road to the Chelsea awaiting the call to a free table.

Pizza - Just great. A lot of variety, from the basic, classic margherita to the filled to the brim american.

Starters - it would be totally remiss of me not to mention the dragon's tongue garlic bread - it is actually making me salivate!!! It is without doubt the nicest thing I have ever eaten. And if you are tough enough you can get the chilli version which is really quite spicy!

Price - I think that the prices are reasonable, as much as you would expect to pay at any restaurant, but another reason why it is a winner is that it is Bring Your Own! Wahay!

Definitely check it out, please i beg you!

        Advantages

        Disadvantages

Situated on the Lisburn Road in Belfast and facing the Chelsea Wine Bar, Greens Pizza's is a gem in Belfast's eaterie crown. Now dont expect a big restaraunt cos its not and dont bother trying to book cos you cant. Also be advised - bring cash credit cards are not welcome. What Greens lacks in size though it sure makes up for in the fine quality of its food. Some may feel cramped in Greens - personally it doesnt bother me. Staff l have found to be enthusiastic and ever helpful. I would also lay a bet to the fact that most are part-timers and students - Greens is situated in a popular student residential area. The pizza parlour is a bring your own bottle and a nominal corkage fee will be charged. Smoking is also permitted. Greens operate a system whereby if they are busy with no free tables, you are invited to head across to the Cheslea with a pager and you will be paged once your table is ready. So what about the food? The pizzas are excellent and there is a small range of pasta dishes (no chips available here!). For me personally there are 2 main reasons as to why Greens are special: 1 Dragons Tongue Bread Individual portions of freshly baked bread with a sweet chilli and garlic sauce just oozing out of thc centre once you cut into it. (Gawd my tum is now rumbling!) 2 Greens Salad An ordinary run of the mill green salad - with a secret weapon being the salad dressing - simply amazing dressing - no one knows whats in it! (Now lm salivating!) Greesn do have a delivery service but really only for those in the immediate area. A take away service is also available. Prices are not overly expensive, but at the same time are not cheap either. Im a great believer in paying for quality when it comes to food and quality is something you can be assured of at Greens.

          Advantages

          Disadvantages

Green’s Pizzeria is situated on the Lisburn Road in Belfast, not far from the King’s Hall. The restaurant is not very big, only seating about forty people, but its size lends to the ambience of the place, as does the popular music that is played. Tables are laid out along the side and the seating is high backed Church Pews, various modern art pictures adorn the walls and a stained glass window is backlit on the rear wall. The young and enthuastic staff appear to be university students but the clientele range from young to old and little to large. Alcohol is not sold on the premises but may be brought in for consumption, at a small charge, and pipes and cigars are not allowed. While the premises are small the demand for its service is very high and at times visitors may be issued with a pager and invited to imbibe in the closest hostelry until a table becomes free this being the only reservation system in use. Pizza’s of all shapes and sizes are available and it is possible for two people to have half pizza’s of different types prepared for them, and although there are starters and desserts available the majority of people find that garlic bread and a half of a large pizza accompanied by a Green’s salad is ample repast. For most people the Green’s salad is the highlight of the meal, the salad which accompanies the meal is freshly made and covered with a secret dressing, which is out of this world and must be tasted to be believed as no words can describe it. Within a limited distance, a delivery system ensures that those that are lazy or are too busy to attend, can also delve into the delectable tastes that derive from this emporium of excellence, bearing in mind that it is possible to telephone ahead and then to collect the food yourself, if you are outside the given area. A web site is available to enable the surfer to better appreciate the services on offer from this not to be missed a
          nd above average restaurant.
