Advantages: good service nice food

Out on my travels this weekend I found myself visiting Greggs - something I haven't done for a while so thought it would be interesting to share my views! We ordered - 4 sausage rolls (on offer) and caramel donut, 3 ring donuts (£1) and 2 cream slices.

Firstly the service - It was excellent , the lady who served me must have only been 20 ish and was really polite , she asked me what I wanted and told me what the offers were . She also gave me spare bags for me to split up the food between my 2 little ones - I thought that was really good customer service especially as it was busy at the time.

It was then I realised that I had left my money in the car! To be fair she just laughed and put all my order to one side and waited for me to go back and get my cash. All in all I don't think I could have asked for better service in an over the counter shop. When comparing it to somewhere I would usually go for fast food e.g. MacDonald's it was definitely superior.

Now down to the food. The sausage rolls were really nice, well cooked nice and crispy but not burnt - these went down really well with the girls! The ring donuts were a bit soggy for my tastes - I've definitely had better. The cream slices and caramel donut according to my husband were 'Superb'.

All in all I'd definitely go back and maybe try the range of pasties and sandwiches they had. They also had a large range of branded drinks that if you bought in conjunction with the pasties and cakes you could have had as a meal deal
