I went to Greggs today for the first time in a while to buy lunch while I was a work. I generally take a packed lunch to work as I prefer home cooked meals, and hand made sandwiches to convenience food as I know exactly what's gone into them. I now feel compelled to write a review.

The good thing about Greggs is it's convenience. Here in Newcastle there is one on literally every corner. Where I work there are 2 within 100 yards of each other, which I find strange. Another good thing about Greggs is its consistency. Every chicken chargrill sandwich is the same as the next chicken chargrill sandwich, and so on for almost all of their products in my experience.

Another good selling point is the price of their offerings. All reasonably priced and offer reasonable value for money, which in our current times can not be sniffed at.

The only thing that disappoints me with regard to Greggs it that unless you time your visit right, your cheese pasty might be stone cold. If you time it right, and they are fresh from the oven, they can be quite tasty.

Their products are quite filling, reasonable quality and don't cost an arm and a leg like some sandwich places out there.
