The wonderful Greggs, it's great. I have been eating at Greggs for many years. I was very upset when the local bakery closed near my work, but when I heard they were replacing it with a Greggs I was a happy bunny again. Greggs provide a wide range of sandwiches, pastries, pizza, pasty's, cakes, iced buns, and now they have started serving fresh ... Read the complete review

I used to go to Greggs whilst at college quite a lot, as I didnt have much money and their selection filled me up quite a lot plu sit was cheap. However, as its cheap, I soon came to realise that there are reasons for this. I found that the staff were always unhappy and looked as people gone out if they asked for something (I mean come ... There is nothing better than walking into greggs first thing in the morning. The smell that hits you is great. Baking bread, cakes, soup and the rest. The you see it all, a counter packed with amazing looking cakes and loads of pasties and pies. I think it is more of a northern thing to eat a pie for breakfast, then again it may just ... OMG i love greggs! Not for the pasties but for the sarnies! not to mention the cakes! I think Greggs are great, they are a North Eastern company and it makes a change to see one of them doing well in this economic climate! However Greggs is also a 'working class' shop in my opinion. It encourages obesity in the working class ... Read the complete review

I think it's great how quickly this place has sprung up all over the place as I like being able to rely on chains for my food on the go. The reason being is that it means I know exactly what sort of food I'm in for and at what kind of price range so I can decide roughly what I want before I even walk in the door. In Greggs, my ... Greggs i think is by far the best bakery out there simply because of the quality of its products. They are always freshly baked and the staff are always friendly. They sell a selection of pasties which are regularly baked fresh throughout the day. My favourite has to be the classic cheese and onion pasty. The flavour is just so ... Read the complete review

It sells pasties, freshly made sandwiches, loaves of bread, crisps, and a huge selection of cakes from vanilla slice to whole jam pies. For a good price as well. Oh i love Greggs, it has to be my favourite sandwich/ cake shop ever. I love the very distinctive sign, that you cant miss, and no matter where you go you'll always get the same quality. The one thing round by us, is that there is always a queue, but it does go down quite quickly, so i definetely say to not let a queue stop ... Read the complete review

Greggs is a chain of bakery stores, selling mainly sandwiches, loaves of bread, seasonal cakes (hot cross buns) and soup and drinks. One recent change to a Greggs in the city centre is that it is now open until 4am on weekends! This is great as you can now get a healthier alternative to McDonalds on your way home from going out! Gregg's the Bakers are a chain of, wait for it, bakers! However, most people possibly think of them more for snacks than for bread and rolls. They do do these, and they're lovely and quite reasonably priced, although for some reason I'd never think to go there for my bread as a rule. What Gregg's does do, and does exceedingly well, is ... Greggs are a bakers who are ideal to visit for lunch, they must do pretty good business as well because I read in my local paper that the one in the centre of town recently got held up on a Saturday afternoon at gun point, bit extreme for a chicken slice but it takes all sorts. They do sell loaves of bread however they tend to ... Read the complete review

I don't in general do pies and cakes but I use Greggs for their rolls and sandwiches which are always top class. The fillings in Gregg's sandwiches are always fresh and they don't skimp on meat fillings and disguise with salad as many bakers do. I don't go to the Bakers very often, but when I do, I choose the best. That's why I go to Greggs! Greggs sells quite a variety of foods, all freshly baked. The amount of Greggs bakeries in the North is amazing. I pass two on the walk between my car park and office on a morning, and the walk takes less than 15 minutes! (Not that I object to this as it means I can call in and get my lunch on those lazy mornings when I've forgotten to bring sandwiches.) They have a fine selection of baked ... Read the complete review
