Advantages: Absolutely none.
Disadvantages: Absolutely everything.
We recently had the misfortune to decide to dine at the Harvester Pub & Grill and I have never been so disgusted in any eating house in this country I have ever eaten in.
The service while adequate was nothing special and the attire the staff were wearing could have really been more suitable to a greasy spoon cafe.
The food was disgusting, I ordered chicken with curry sauce, chips and corn on the cob. this is exactly what I got and it was disgusting, the chips were cold and the chicken was not cooked properly, being red in the inside. I never got around to trying the corn on the cob as I asked the waitress to remove the disgusting pile of rubbish.
The salads bar was a nice addition but the people using it were not monitored and there were people picking up bread rolls fingering them and putting them back in the containers, there were people picking up food from the trays with their fingers and there was unsupervised children grabbing food out of the trays and eating it. This was bad enough but by far the worst was the dress of the employee that was looking after the replenishment of the trays, his clothes were absolutely filthy, dirty trainers, chefs trousers that were all wet and ripped around the bottom and his smock was almost totally covered in food stains, I personnely would not have even let him into a food establishment let alone let him serve food.
All in all our opinion of this place is, it is a disgusting place to eat and if there is not an outbreak of a food infection I will be very surprised, this establishment should be looked in to by the authorities before this occurs. I certainly will not eat there again and I will advise anybody who would interested to do the same.
Summary: The worst food place I have ever visited in this country.
