Cheap prices for cheap food, but I love it (Harvester Pub & Grill)

Harvester is a national chain of cheap restaurants that seat around 100 people and serve a huge array of dishes from baked potatoes to mixed grills, rotisserie chicken to salad.

The best thing about this chain is the price. If you eat before 3pm you can get the earlybird menu which is around 1/3 off too! Basically you can get a good meal for between £4 and £10, which includes the mixed grill I always get.

The bad thing about the food is the service, which is slow. I have been waiting at the door to be seated for too long on many occasions, and I wish they would sort this out.

The food is average. It's pretty much like home cooking, not restaurant standard, but you expect that for the price.

Every main meal includes free unlimited trips to the salad bar, and the salad bar is actually really good, certainly as good as Pizza Hut where it's £2.50 a bowl.

All in all a cheap and cheerful place where you get an average meal for a good price.
