      Country Hotel and Restaurant Lough Eske Donegal Town Hidden away in the middle of nowhere you will visit for a meal and want to stay for a week. It is off the beaten track a bit but well worth the long twisty narrow roads to get there, and finally to get such a brilliant view over the large boating lake right in front of the restaurant itself. The peace and tranquillity is so restful, and the walks in the surrounding area of the hotel are beautiful. They do a gorgeous Sunday carvery all year round for £12.95 Punts. It’s 5 courses and you can eat as much as you want. There is fresh local salmon for one of the many starters, and plenty for your main meal and there are about 20 types of desserts. But it’s the Gourmet dinner I love the best. It’s the finest french Cuisine 5 courses again but served in the main restaurant, silver service, and costs £30.00 punts. The tariff changes little throughout the year, and is very reasonable; they do not allow children in after 9pm and not to stay over at all.
