Advantages: Big Portions, decent food and cheap

Disadvantages: Could be cleaner

Our local one is The Four Seasons in Laindon. We have eaten there on three occasions recently and the food was pretty good.
I will cover the time my husband and I went 2 weeks ago.

What we ordered:
Roast Chicken and Chips
Beef and Ale Pie and Chips
Side Order of Mushrooms, Onion Rings and Garlic Bread
2 Cokes

The price was under £15 which was a bargain.

The food:

I had the chicken and chips and it was lovely I had BBQ sauce and mayonnaise with it and it was a pretty big portion and nice and tasty did not take long but didnt taste microwaved.
My husband had the pie and said it was lovely very filling and the pie was deeply filled and tasty.
We then had the side order to share all of them were delicious and it was a good sized side order.
The cokes were pint glasses which was well worth it.

The service:
Food was delivered quickly and the waitress was friendly and got me BBQ sauce quickly.

The atmosphere:
The pub is nice with lots of tables and some booths with a built in PPV TV which is nice. You do have to be careful on the times you go as it can attract a rough crowd but that is due to the location.
The cutlery comes out in buckets with the sauces which are all a bit warm and old looking.
It could do with being a bit cleaner but you don't fear for your health.
For a cheap and cheerful night out it is good fun.

Summary: Not bad for a cheapie
