Advantages: Good sized meals, great prices.

Disadvantages: None that I can think of!

We have a few Hungry Horse's in our area, and they are are always one of my first choices for a meal out because they are reasonably priced and you get a decent amount of food!
They always have loads of offers and promotions on, current ones at the time of writing are Two Meals for £8 (though this doesn't cover the whole menu, only selected meals), Burger and a pint from £4.99, and curry night (which is Wednesday night) where you can get a curry and a pint for £4.99.
They have an excellent selection of dishes on the menu, which you can look at in advance on their website, so you can decide if you'd like to go there without even leaving the house.
The restaurant itself is clean and welcoming, with lots of tables. You seat yourself at a table of your choice and choose what you'd like from the menu. You then make a note of your table number (its written on the corner of the table) and go up to the ordering point. You have to pay at the point of ordering, but if you're not sure if you want dessert and would rather pay for everything at once then you can ask them to leave it open for you.
We went last night and a meal for two cost £17. I had the mixed grill and my husband had the cheese and bacon burger. We had two cokes to go with this. The food arrived within 10 minutes of us ordering (it wasnt very busy) and all food was presented well and was piping hot.
After a few minutes of the food arriving, the waitress came back and asked if everything was ok and did we need any more sauce or anything else. So if there's something wrong with your food when you get it, now's your chance to say so.
I like the Hungry Horse restaurants, I have a big appetite so their "Big Plate Specials" are great for me, I can't stand fancy restaurants that leave you wondering where the rest of your food is. The Hungry Horse is a down to earth restaurant for average people, you often see local builders and workmen in there having a pint.
A good choice for a decent, cheap meal out.

Summary: A good restaurant.

Sounds interesting but where are the restaurants? Do they have a website?
