Advantages: drinks are ok i suppose

Disadvantages: for some reason, they like to keep me waiting for food when my mates get theres in normal time.

This place is kind of like our local mainly because one of my mates lives across the road from it and we end up going in there quite a lot for a drink. It's not exactly the best pub in salisbury- there doesn't seem to be much of an atmosphere and it's quite boring (as a lot of chain pubs are). The drinks are usually decent and the food is ok most of the the time, there's one problem though, the last 3 times I have ordered food in there, twice it has taken a ridiculously long time for it to come. A couple of months ago, me and two friends went for a drink and a bite to eat on a sunday afternoon, My two friends both ordered a burger each and I ordered a sausage sandwich. Their food came in about 10 minutes and I thought 'mine will be here soon' how wrong was I? it took 75 minutes to come! The excuses were- 'It got wiped off the screen' 'They forgot.'
B******s! So now i'm sitting here like some sort of mug eating a sandwich which I ordered because I wanted something to eat something while my friends were eating, about an hour after they finished their meals! And, I must add, the sandwich wasn't actually that nice! They apologized and all that but it still made me feel like an idiot.
Went in there today with the same two friends and ordered sausage and mash, they ordered a sandwich and sausage and mash. We jokingly said 'I wonder if it will take ages again?' Jinxed! It did! and this time it took 95 minutes and they said that it didn't show up on the screen and they didn't really care when I told them that i'm not happy because the same thing happened last time i ordered food! Have they got something against me or something? I'm NOT going to order food in there again.

Summary: They need to get their ordering system sorted out because it is (as they keep saying) quite s**t!
