Advantages: scrumptious with speciality foods

This restaurant is one of many on Old Brompton Road. It is within 5 minutes walk from South Kensington Tube station and so is convenient if you want a special lunch whilst out visiting the museums, or as i did, for dinner before going to the Albert Hall.

The restaurant is obviously family owned and run and comprises two relatively small rooms.

The menu specialises in seafood dishes and veal dishes... and although they sounded appealing, my morals wouldn't let me try the veal dishes.

Starters cost around £6 each and range from seafood to soup to salads. Main courses start at around £7.50 but obviously the more extravagant seafood and veal dishes are around 9-15 pounds. I chose spinach and ricotta ravioli which was wonderfully fresh and scrumptious... my partner had calamari with veg which was one of the day's special dishes.

True to its word, the meal cost about £24 a head including drinks.

The restaurant offers a fixed price three course menu at £16.50 which i believe to be a brilliant price but obviously the range is a little limited. the desserts looked wonderfully tempting but we had to dash!!!

The atmosphere was relaxed and happy and certainly not too smart as some of the restaurants in this area are supposed to be.
