Early on a Saturday night the restaurant, on two floors was quiet, and was gradually filling up. Service was friendly and attentive, by staff who looked as if they may have been more used to the older informal style of the Spaghetti house. The menu is short, but caters for most tastes. There is pasta but no pizza. I had soup and grilled sword fish (which was a little tough)and my wife had slivers of cured tuna and seafood linguine.Cheapest red wine was about £12 and was a light Sicilian.... more |

What used to be the old fashioned Spaghetti house in Jermyn Street, just behind Picadilly has now become one of a small chain called Getti. We used to use the old one, and tried the new one on a promotional voucher received through the mail. The restaurant has been revamped, and now has the popular angular, glass and pastel appearance that accompanies new cuisine.
