JongleursNewest Review: ... have to keep going back and forth to the bar. Some my friends ordered food. But I didn't like the look of anything on the menu. When it came, I was glad I hadn't ordered. It was very processed food and came in a type of fast food box rather than on a plate. The food was very expensive for the quality, and to me it just looked greasy and unappetising. At about half nine, the show started. ... more |

I have not got much experience of comedy clubs. So I haven't really got anything to compare the Jongleurs experience with. However I have to say on the night I went there as part of a party I had a fantastic night and thoroughly enjoyed myself. However there were areas of the clubs service that left alot to be desired. It was my friends birthday, so we decided to celebrate with something a bit different. After researching on the Internet for nearby venues, we decided on Jongleurs club in Cardiff. We decided to push the proverbial boat out and hired a limo hummer for the evening. To take us and pick us up from the venue. We went for a few drinks first and then ... Read the complete review

A few of us went to Jongleurs in Birmingham last week and had a rubbish time! Went with a friend who paid for the tickets for his birthday and pretty much the same as others, STOP LAUGHING OR YOUR OUT! I am amazed that if you can't laugh in a comedy club, where can you! More like stop breathing and your out! The table behind us, full of females, were laughing and joking, passing round there mobile phone, but for some reason, the male staff ignored them! It was like the being in prison rather than a fun night out. The staff were rude and also sent security down to watch us! He soon went tho when he realised we weren't doing anything wrong! We were ... Read the complete review

Went to Jongleurs in Glasgow on a work team night out and went in with high expectations having seen Jongleurs Unleashed on the tv and having spoken to friends who had been before and said it was a great club to go to and always a laugh but how wrong they were. Having taken our seats we decided to order some snacks and some drinks and I was shocked to see just how much they were having the nerve to charge as I had already paid to get in...the prices were more like those you would expect to pay in a nightclub but knowing I was there to enjoy it I went with the flow. The snacky food served was ok but for the price being paid was certainly not something special and ... Read the complete review

22 of went out for my mates hen night, all mature women out for a good laugh, we booked tables at the leeds jongleurs, thought we were in for a fab night. How wrong we were. After waiting ages to get a drink, we sat down to enjoy the show, one of the girls creasing up with laughter, but you know when someone has one of those funny laughs, that you just can`t stop laughing at, it set me off, the girl next to me couldn`t stop laughing, we were all in stitches, then a young lady, who looked like security, told her to stop laughing else she was to leave, a few of us went out for a cig, couldn`t believe what she`d said. We went back inside, sat down. The security woman ... Read the complete review

A very funny line up combined with a nice venue, large enough without being too impersonal. We were in the standing room area which was well positioned and a pleasant place to be. However, a member of staff continually harassed those in the area for various issues including joining in with the jokes too loudly!!! She 'removed' several members of my group and from another group who were equally disgusted with the treatment and would not return as a result. We missed the second half of the line up due to the disturbances that this lady was causing, which is a shame as those who were fortunate enough to be on the other side of the room appeared to be enjoying. ...
