80 years later, those 11 secret spices are still going strong (Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC))

When it comes to fast food, you pretty much have 3 choices: McDonalds, Burger King and KFC. Whereas the first two produce food that has the distinct feel of being quickly and carelessly thrown together, KFC is different. First off, there's the coating made up of 11 secret spices and herbs. Now, these guys have been around since the 1930s, and the secret coating is the main reason for their success, coating each piece of chicken in a delicious, unique blend of tasty but not over-strong spices and herbs. There is no doubt that the chicken tastes great. Sadly, the same cannot be said for the chips, which are as bad as the other fast-food joints in that they're often soggy and cold/cool. And don't even talk to me about the gravy, which is always a congealed blob in a pot. But, you don't go to KFC for the chips, you go for the chicken, which is always great. Summary: do it |
