Advantages: Tasty chicken, quite cheap, family buckets

Disadvantages: Poor shops

KFC - or Kentucky Fried Chicken is another fast food place like McDonalds or Burger King and have outlets in nearly every town or city in the UK. As you can tell from the name they specialise in chicken and this is where they are much better than McDonald`s. With the taste of the chicken being nicer and the number of chicken options you can choose.

Food
The food at KFC varies from being quite good to awful. Their chicken is the tastiest thing and is quite nice and I love the popcorn chicken! However the same cannot be said about their fries as they are bad and the same quality as their competitors, they are soggy and often cold. Then I would say is that you don`t go KFC to buy chips you go to buy their chicken.

Price
KFC is slightly more expensive than McDonalds and Burger King but is definitely not expensive! They might be cheaper if you buy one of their big buckets which could feed a whole family which is a bonus and would be cheaper and you cannot do this at McDonalds.

Shops
The shops are usually really bad and not a nice place to eat. They are dirty and crowded and could do with a redesign to make them a little bit nicer. You usually find some chips on the floor and pieces of chicken on your seat!

Service
The service is about the same as other fast food shops - in that it is not particularly brilliant. A couple of examples of this is that they are quite slow at serving. Also as I mentioned earlier the shops are often dirty and the staff don`t clean up as quickly as they should.

Overall
I think I prefer KFC over McDonalds and definitely prefer it to Burger King. I think their chicken is really nice and my favourite thing has to be the popcorn chicken. If you are out and about and want a cheap meal you know that KFC will be OK and at least know what to expect.
