Advantages: Fair price for quantity of food

Disadvantages: Hit and miss on quality

KFC used to be one of my favourite fast food chains. However, the crown of quality chicken eatery now sits on firmly of the head of the Nando's franchise.

What I've noticed with KFC ~ is the quality of food/service varies restaurant to restaurant. I've visited some and it was filthy ~ toilets weren't much better ...where as others have been much cleaner.

I'm not sure if it is because they are constantly under-staffed by greedy franchise owners or I'd just visited on bad days. But, I've got to admit the actual staff have always been very friendly.

Food wise; we usually go for a Bargin Bucket if we're taking it home or a Zinger Burger if eating in. The price is fair for the actual amount of food you get.

The one thing that keeps me going back is the gravy! ...although I know which branch to visit for the better stuff (again, seems to differ branch to branch).

Summary: OK if you want to grab a Bargin Bucket - but don't eat in.
