Advantages: Tasty bbq meal

Disadvantages: Greasy food; Bad staff a lot of the time

I don't have KFC very often but last week I got a voucher from Pinecone and because I was passing one I decided to get one of the bbq beast boxes that they're advertising at the minute.

This box is 3 chicken bites that are coated in a thick bbq sauce, a bbq chicken burger, fries, beans and a drink and that costs £4.69 or you can pay an extra 40p to upgrade to a bigger chips and drink. I had the bigger one because I was hungry but even though the drink is quite a lot bigger the chips aren't that much bigger.

There are other boxes and variety meals so however many people you're buying for can have their choice of food. The variety buckets are good because you can get 10 pieces of chicken and 4 fries for a tenner and that's a cheap way for all of you to get something to eat.

The burgers in KFC are wicked and my fave is the fillet tower burger because it's got a big hash brown on it and the chicken is always nice and crunchy. The chicken drumsticks and breasts are proper fatty and I hate the feeling of all the grease on my skin so I don't have the normal chicken very often and when I do I wrap a piece of tissue round it.

The chips are wicked from KFC and are loads better than them in Mcdonalds because they taste like proper potato instead of synthetic rubbish. You can get sauces to dip your chips in but you have to pay 10p for them, I had a pot of mayo but they'd got red sauce and bbq sauce as well.

I think KFC is proper expensive for the quality of the food because it's all dead greasy and not very healthy at all. I noticed that even though I felt full up after my box meal I was starving about an hour after and that shows how empty the calories are.

The popcorn chicken is nice when you're in the mood for stuff like that but I'm not a mad on it because it's too fiddly to eat and my fingers get too greasy.

I reckon KFC is good for a treat but I only have it 2 or 3 times a year because I'm just not mad keen on the food and think it's way too greasy and that's weird because I don't mind greasy food usually. The beans are always good in KFC because they have got a bbq flavour, they come in a little plastic pot and are the best baked beans ever especially when you dip your chips into them.

The staff in the one by me are crap, even worse that Mcdonalds. My dad likes KFC and has learnt to check his order before leaving because the amount of times he's got home and something is missing is untrue! Last time it was a burger missing which is no joke because they are dead expensive. I saw them talking and laughing while there was a big queue waiting to be served and that's no good because it doesn't make you feel valued at all.
