Member Name: mr_nadge
Advantages: Lots Of Variety. Quick Service. Reasonble Prices. Family Meal Options. Disadvantages: Not Much Choice Other Than Chicken. No Vegetarian Options.
Kentucky Fried Chicken was founded by Colonel Harland Sanders in 1952, although he had been serving chicken in a restaurant named "Sanders Court & Café" since the 1930's. In fact, his cafe was so succesful that Kentucky Governor Ruby Laffoon granted Sanders the title of honorary Kentucky Colonel in 1936 for helping aid the reputation of the State's cuisine. The "original" recipe still used to this day was thought up be Sanders in 1940. The very first Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant was opened in South Salt Lake, Utah by Sanders & Pete Harman. The brand quickly took off & by the 1960's KFC was being sold in over 600 outlets in the U.S. Summary: If you like Chicken, then this is a great place to eat. |
