KFC - service station

A while ago i had to go to london for an interview for university. We needed to stop somewhere for something to eat and not being a fan of burger king...or little chef....(yuck!!) we decided to try KFC.

I remember going to a KFC when i was younger and i used to think it was a bit expensive...so the thought of buying from a service station was like thinking about all my cash suddenly dissapearing.

However i found the prices to be very reasonable. It cost £2.99 for a meal which is the same as Mcdonalds, and very good considering service stations usually add to the price to start with.

For this i got a burger and fries. The fries were much nicer than Mcdonalds, and bigger as well....u know they werent the kind that turn into cardboard when they start to cool off.

The burger was fantastic!!!. It was bigger than Mcdonalds...and no i dont just mean they give you a bigger bread bun...there was actually ALOT of meat in there!. The burger was hot and wasnt covered in gallons of mayonaise...perfect!

So having enjoyed the meal on the way back we went again...this time we went for the bucket at £9.99...wow! dont attempt this unless you are very hungry!. Usually at fast food places i eat...leave the store...then have to rack my brain to actually remember if i ate anything...but not in this case.

For £9.99 you get about 8 pieces of chicken...very meaty pieces too and 4 lots of fries...again the food was hot and luckily for me came with wipes to stop you wiping grease on the car seats!.

It has been a while since i went to a KFC in town, but i have to say the service station ones are very good, and break all stereotypes of service station food!!.

The prices are reasonable for the amount you get, and the food came quickly and hot.

I would highly reccomend KFC over any other establishment such as Burger King or Little Chef whose food really leaves alot to be desir
