Well I don't know where I've been hiding as up until February of this year I had never even heard of a Krispy Kreme doughnut never mind tasted one. I first found out about them at work when all of the girls in the office kept going on about Krispy Kremes and I just kept my head down not having a clue what they were on about until I finally decided to ask one of the girls trying not to look like an idiot for being the only one never to have tried one, they all laughed but decided to bring some in for someone's birthday. As soon as they were brought in everybody ran to the kitchen and it was there where I tried an original glazed doughnut thinking that they would be no different than any other however they were gorgeous and I went back for another this time with chocolate and glaze in one.

Once you taste the doughnut it simply floats in your mouth it's so light and fluffy and you'll immediately feel like you could eat another. For anyone who has never tried one you may be thinking that I'm over reacting about a doughnut but they are just so tasty. There are a number of different flavours as other reviews have already described, but the flavours vary at each of the different outlets so it's best to just go in and have a look what's available before being rushed into ordering and not knowing what's available. Just after I tasted mine I noticed that a new shop was opening right near my workplace in central Manchester and now I have a Krispy Kreme Friday!

The doughnuts all vary in prices depending on what you want with the cheapest being the original glazed doughnut, but it is cheaper to buy a box of different quantities so have a look before you buy them. They also sell coffees too and they even have collectables such as t shirts and mugs! I definitely recommend you give them a try.

Summary: Great doughnuts so go an treat yourself.
