Krispy Kreme is an American company that produces doughnuts and other snacks. They are famous for their doughnuts and have a very large range of different ones. However, my favourite has to be the very original ones - the original glazed variety.

You can find Krispy Kreme stores in most large cities, usually in shopping centres where there will be a small stall or shop. You can find them in Harrods, London and there is also one in my nearby Tesco Extra. They are characteristic for their large, bright Krispy Kreme sign outside the store, which is red and green.

They used to hand away free original glazed doughnuts, but they don't seem to do that anymore. I used to go in there with a Krispy Kreme hat I found and they just handed me a doughnut, which was great! Nowadays, you always have to pay and their prices are quite premium too!

Apart from the original glazed doughnuts, they do jam ones with a sugar outside as well as custard ones, chocolate ones and cream ones. They even do apple ones and varieties with chocolate on top and sprinkles and more. One single doughnut will cost from around £1.10 to £1.30 depending on which one. This is very expensive, but you can buy larger boxes of 4, 6 or 12 for cheaper prices. You can pick a selection of doughnuts or just buy one type.

The quality of the doughnuts isn't brilliant and they are very fattening as they are very sweet with lots of sugar. However, they taste absolutely out of this world. They have a very soft texture and are delicious warm, just out the oven. I would recommend heating them in the microwave if you get home with a box, as they taste so much better, but beware of jam inside as it will get very hot.

They may be sticky or messy with white sugar, depending how they are coated. They really taste delicious but aren't very big and are gone within seconds! They are extremely addicting but so fattening too, so I wouldn't recommend eating too many. Overall, they are delicious doughnuts but it's hard to find a store and they come at a very premium price. The quality isn't great and they are fattening but they taste wonderful and you should really treat yourself to one if you come across a Krispy Kreme store.
