“ Address: 33 Market Street / Cleethorpes DN35 8LY / North Lincolnshire „
La Bella is a large chain of restaurants having these all around England and abroad in places such as Leeds, Manchester and Cleethorpes. The cuisine here is Italian. I used to work at a nightclub on the high street and after a staff meeting where we finished at 8pm, me and some work mates decided to go grab some tea. We went to la Bella due to it being just in the market place, after this me and my friend who I worked with at the time decided it would be a good idea to meet up before out 11pm start and get something to eat.
Inside La Bella there is first a waiting area with sofa's in, this is for if you have a party arriving and your table is not ready yet, across from this there is the bar which is very small but they only have a small number of staff working here. We then see all the tables and I was happy for once to see that they have a variety in the table sizes, it shows that they cater for a different number of people whether there is 8 or 2 of them, it meant we didn't need to sit at a 6 seater table when there was only 2 of us.
The atmosphere inside it quite nice, we are told to just grab a table where ever we fancy sitting because at that time of night it isn't overly busy. Before even opening the menu we could guess what we'll fine - pasta dishes, pizzas, noodles those types of meals due to it being an italian restaurant, we was right of course but they also offered big steak dishes and lots of fish starter meals along with some creamy cake desserts.
The meals are of a standard price and the food itself varies from £3 - £15 including starters. Personally If I order a starter if fills me up so I go straight to the meals and I picked the lasagna. The lady took our order from the table which I always like, she had a wide knowledge of the meals and products too. our food all came out at the same time including my friends steak dinner so it took a little longer but it took 20 minutes approximately to arrive.
My meal was overall all really tasty and flavourful, some of the sauce from the lasagna had spilled out of the actual pasta but it was in a dish I presume for that reason. All the food was hot and cooked just right for it to be nice and creamy yet full of meat at the same time. I got a side salad with this as well.
The service here is really good, all the staff members are friendly and speedy with the food and drinks as well as coming back and checking up, there's only one slight disadvantage about this place and that's that they give you drinks out of large pepsi bottles, so they will charge you £1.50 for a small glass of pepsi that they poured out of a larger bottle of pepsi that cost them £1.
