Disadvantages: The food

This review isn't meant to earn me any points but put some information back into the community.

I worked at a La Tasca branch and everything is cooked from frozen. The staff levels are kept very low (2 in the day) so to keep costs down. One of us would work the fron of house, the other at the back.

I would cut the bags open, heat in the microwave and serve. Some items were heated in the pan, but very little. Tortilla, paella, meatballs, chorizo... all frozen and heated to order. The food is so bad in my opinion I rarely at the discounted food unless desperate.

Having been to Spain a few times and having made my own tapas, I can confirm the frozen stuff has a completely different texture. While the taste may be similar in some respects, all the extra stabilizers and salts and sugars which are added to ensure it has a longer life can't be good for the customer...

Please pick up the yellow pages and search for a local family run Spanish tapas place, it may cost a little more, but you'll get authentic flavours and you won't be eating the same garbage you could've bought from Tesco's frozen section...

Please note I don't expect a high rating for this quick review, I merely wanted to advise people what they're eating...
