Advantages: Taste, Tapas, Atmosphere, Value

Disadvantages: Crowded

La Tasca is a Spanish restaurant chain that can be found all over the UK.
If you fancy exploring the taste of Spain, you should try it here.

What I love about the restaurants is that everything goes together well. From the decor inside to the service and the food and drink.

I also thoroughly enjoy the way of eating via tapas and feel it is great to be able to have an array of different dishes to try and share with others you are dining with. It makes the experience more fun and sociable. Add some sangria into the mix and things really get going.

The atmosphere inside is always bustling and lively, with music played.

The food is served mainly tapas style, where you choose a selection of dishes off the menu. These dishes can either be eaten by yourself of shared with others. Or you could opt for the paella option.
I find the food to be extremely yummy and great value too. There are often offers or vouchers to be found and used, which on my last visit I got 50% discount off the food bill.

Some of my favourites on the menu are : ALBONDIGAS A LA JARDINERA (Meatballs) PATATAS BRAVAS (Potatoes in a tomato sauce) CROQUETAS DE POLLO (Chicken croquettes with a garlic mayonnaise) PAELLa DE CARNE (Meat Paella)

I also enjoy the sangria whilst I dine and feel it works well alongside the tapas.

The desserts are lovely too! Don't forget to save some room for them!

The only downside I can think of is that, in the London branches at least, the restaurants do get busy so you can find yourself squished in next to people, where I prefer to have a bit more space when I dine.

Summary: A great place to dine!

Good review.

There are two in Edinburgh that I can think of and I think they couldn't be any more different; one reeks of cheapness by staff that could'nt care less whilst the one in the city centre is much more organised and friendlier. The food quality differs however between the two, sadly.
