La Tasca Chelmsford is situated in Backnang Square in Chelmsford where there is also a Costa coffee, Yates, Wetherspoons, Que Pasa and Edwards bar too so there is plenty of competition around. It's a Spanish themed restaurant with a selection of tapas and paella. This particular restaurant has a lovely outside area which is great in the summer. La Tasca Chelmsford is located in the centre of Chelmsford high street next to the popular Meadows shopping centre and Costa coffee. What is first noticeable about the Chelmsford one is the veranda outside that many of the other La Tasca restaurants do not have - it creates an atmosphere that, at least for myself and my girlfriend, made us want to get stuck into some tapas and fine Spanish wine right away. What struck me next was the service - it was great. It's a nice touch that most of the people there were seemingly Spaniards, but they were all very friendly and offered to help with pronunciation if we couldn't quite say any of the ...  Read the complete review
