My partner and I decided to go on a day out to Gunwharf Quays today for a spot of shopping and fancied a bite to eat for lunch. Seeing La Tasca we decided to try it out, having never eaten tapas before, and were intrigued as to what dishes they offered and pricing etc. I must say the food was excellant! We had a mixture of tapas including croquettes, prawns and the meatballs (meatballs are a MUST if you go!). The price was fab too-under £30 including all food (of which there was alot!) and drinks-with sangria of course! The only down side was we should have gone tomorrow as would have received 50% discount with the voucher on their website. Nevertheless I was extremely impressed, everything tasted fresh and full of flavour, and will be recommending it to friends and family. Next time I'm in Portsmouth again, I will definitley be lunching at La Tasca!
