Advantages: Good portion size, tasty

Disadvantages: Service lacks once the restaurant gets busy

We recently visited La Tasca for the first time. There is a wide range of tapas dishes to choose from. From meat, chicken and seafood to vegetarian dishes and salads. The garlic bread as a starter was very nice. The menu is good in the sense that gluten free dishes are clearly marked- this is very helpful as my partner is gluten free and most restaurants don`t have any options for gluten free customers.

One thing i should point out is that the paellas are obviously cooked to order and take 45 mins- 1 hour to cook- so if you definetly want paella i would suggest your order it as soon as you sit down at your table. There is a good choice of desserts and the portion size is generous.

Service was initially good, but once the restaurant got busier we noticed the lack of servers. I would definetly visit La Tasca again as the food was nice and atmosphere good. A good tip- sign up for the La Tasca club on their website and you automatically receive a £5 off your next meal voucher.

Summary: Great for a tapas night out
