After the waitress made us feel terrible for not booking, she didn't say a word, didn't show us to our table just dumped a couple of menus on one. Someone else came to take our order and checked that we'd been told we need to be gone asap! Food was bland, nothing special.Starters were greasy and tasteless, I had seafood hotpot main, most of which was undercooked. Zero stars! I'd heard good things and other reviews are favorable but I disagree! My partner and I decided to stop here for food as we were in Lovechild for the day. We had not booked so went quite early, just before 6pm before bookings started arriving, as we knew we'd be quite quick. Bad choice, awful welcome. Lee Garden have 2 restaurants - one in Lichfield and one in Sutton Coldfield.I have only been to the one in Lichfield, and it was amazing! The chefs are employed form Hong Kong and Malaysia so they obviously know what they are doing - and you can tell that by the quality of the food. I had the spring rolls to begin with and they were delicious! Crispy on the outside, filled with really tast veg in the middle with a hint of spice. I wasn't keen on the dipping sauce (I never am in Chinese restaurants) so I kept well away. For the main, I had crispy chicken and egg friend rice. Again, it was totally delicious.
