I'm not a fish eater at all - i can't even stomach fish fingers - but my girlfriend loves fish and loves to eat regularly at Loch Fyne. Luckily they do cater for meat eaters too and when i first went i have sausages with mash and gravy which were delicious although they were about £!1 which is pretty steep for sausages.

After i returned after this i then tried the steak (which hadn't been available the time beforehand). This again was really good although you have to add any side orders as it does not come with anything. This bumped the price up to about £22 which is quite a lot for one meal.

I haven't been back for a while although my girlfriend has and she noticed that they now only serve the steak as an option for meat eaters with no other alternatives other than vegetarian dishes which is a shame. However is now apparently comes served with chips so i guess it will be slightly more economical!

Overall this is not somewhere i would choose to go but i can scrape by and just about enjoy it if i have to!
