Advantages: Tasty and not too pricey
Disadvantages: Grumpy staff and no butter provided.
I went to this restaurant for my birthday for the first time and I really enjoyed my meal there! I was warned in advance that the food was expensive, but I thought the prices were varied, catering for all pockets. I had the chilli and garlic prawns for starter which was very nice. The bread did not come with butter (despite being given a butter knife!) so I had to ask for that. I had a glass of the prosecco which was enjoyable. For the main meal, I had Moules Marineres and they were gorgeous! They were reasonably priced at £9. The dish came with bread (again no butter!) and chips. The meal was very filling and I couldn't manage dessert, but it did look tempting and again did not seem too expensive. I found the staff to be attentive, though one member of staff did seem a little grumpy. You could see into the kitchen, which was very clean, but the staff did seem to stand and talk which seemed a little unprofessional for such a restaurant! The bill came to £45 for 2 starters, 2 mains, 3 glasses of prosecco and a glass of coke.
Summary: Great for fish lovers!
