We go regularly to Chinese restaurants in Central London for Dim Sum. We have sampled Dim Sum in Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, Malasia and Toronto. This compares favourably.
The food was very good
Good value for money
The service was excellent and attentive
The toilets clean
We will recommend it to family & friends
We certainly will return
Additional advantage of parking available

The London Hong Kong profits well from airline/airport workers looking for somewhere relatively local to enjoy a night out. It also does well from those travellers staying in one of the many nearby Heathrow hotels, who are looking for something a bit different from the average hotel dining experiences, (and perhaps something more fairly-priced, ... I've only been to the Bath Road branch, twice for Dim Sum, so can't comment on the other establishments. As it was for Dim Sum, it was obviously in the afternoon, so I can't comment on what the evening is like, nor the standard menu. I've traveled a number of times to Hong Kong, was introduced to, and `schooled in', Dim Sum by a Chinese friend and ... Read the complete review

I've been going to London Hong Kong (LHK) with my family for the last few years, as it's my Mum's number one choice for dim sum since she decided the food at Tai Tung in Croydon wasn't up to her standard anymore. Up until recently we have considered the food at LHK to be very good. We mostly go there to eat dim sum, but we have also had ... Read the complete review

If you want a child friendly, good service restaurant, don't go here (Heathrow). I went with a pre booked group of 18 including kids. On arrival they had us split on two tables, until we asked them to join them together. Our orders arrived erratically and some never arrived - food and drink. The icecream for the kids took 40 minutes to arrive after making several requests of the staff. One dessert arrived as we were preparing to leave. The staff in our area were very rude and it was the worst service I have ever experienced. The table was not cleared until we asked and generally it was a disappointing experience. I would not recommend this "restaurant". WonKees has better service than this place.

i've been to this restuarnt many many times, i love the food there, the service is different, not like you get in england, its based on Hong kong service, you get a main waiter, then many staff who bring food over, then your waiter/waitress put it on your table, staff to clear, fill your tea pot up etc etc the food is great, i even went to hong ... SHOCKING! The service was thoroughly disgusting: We attended this restaurant in quite a large group (around thirty). At the particular table at which I was sat, one friend decided to order something for under ten pounds and the manager came over and SHOUTED at him! When the food arrived two of us had to wait longer for our portions of ... Read the complete review

Ignore the last review....
The service is excellent, the food is fantastic... & tasty & cheap for that type of food.... Selction on the menue is fantastic...
Try eating the same in Central London, you will pay double....
Very accommodating staff & chef, they will try their best to prepare things your way, & if they cant, they will tell you before hand after asking the chef to give you the chance to change your mind....
This is NOT a place for you if you are used to eating cheap cheap & boring food.
Highly recommended. Its a restaurant I recommend to all my visiting friends....

Please note this is in relation to the London Hong Kong Restaurant in Harmondsworth - i.e. listed as Uxbridge UB7 postcode. Looks good on the outside and quite nice on the in but the food is something else. I remember the building used to be an office block before being converted, quite frankly they should have just levelled it rather than have ... Read the complete review

I read the previous review and thought ,well maybe it is a one off mishap or that the couple had too high expectations(If you accept every film or book critic ,you never see or read anything). Went in with my wife and another couple and virtually had the same experience that the other people had!!!!! Every one was busy and no one seem to ... Read the complete review

London Hong Kong is a Chinese restaurant which bills itself as selling "authentic Cantonese and Peking Cuisine". It is based at 388 Bath Road, West Drayton, Middlesex UB7 0DH. It is very close to the airport and I've been told that it is frequented by airline staff. I cannot confirm the validity of what I've been told but I can recount ... Read the complete review
