Lorimers Restaurant (Inverness) Reviews

Newest Review: ... but I have never had trouble getting a space here as a lot of the visitors work in the surrounding area. Me and my friend from work visit here most Fridays as a little treat! We always given a small pile of orders from the office. Lorimer's offers sandwiches on thick white and brown bread, baguettes or croissants. If you fancy something a bit healthier you can also choose a slalad. I love their baguettes but their bread is always soft and fresh tasting too! I don't really eat in the restaurant here so this review is more focused on their takeaway from which I do get take out. I work near Raigmore Hospital so there isn't much choice for lunch around here unless we want to go to Tesco or visit a restaurant. I love fresh sanwiches though and this is where Lorimers come in! Situated in the Longman area, and located across from the College, means going here avoids the notorious traffic in town! Its hard to find really good fish and chips in the Highland capital, Inverness, But these are really good at Lorimers Restaurant on the Longman Industrial estate as you come into Inverness from the A9 from the East. (Opposite Inverness College) There is a takeaway service or restaurant service with a good variety of food as well as fish and chips, the prices are very reasonable, Haddock and chips with peas, Mushy or ordinary = £4.25. There are pasta dishes, Salads, Filled Baguettes Etc. There is normally a daily special on the notice board. The takeaway service has fish and chips and usual chip shop fare and a variety of Fresh rolls filled with your choice of a wide ... Read the complete review
