Mcdonald's opened its first chain of over 31,000 found in 119 different countries in 1940 by brothers Dick and Mac Mcdonald in Calafornia. Since then it rose to the largest global restaurant chain which has now been beaten by Subway and serves 47 million customers daily. Fast Food places seem to be springing up all around us, although in the area of Rossendale we don't have much choice of fast food except the usual Chinese and Indians and kebab houses but I never really fancy those mainly because they seem like dirty places and I don't really trust them. So we have one Mc Donald's as a big chain fast food joint. Our nearest KFC is about a 20 minute drive away. I actually prefer KFC but maybe this is because I can't just have it when I want. When I was a kid I never went to Mc Donald's except for some parties that I was invited too. Occasionally my Mum would take me as a treat in the holidays. It is one of ... Read the complete review

Over the past few years we have seen the seemingly unstoppable spread of American culture radiating throughout the countries of the world and none more so than right here in the united kingdom. Fast food, honed and perfected by our transatlantic cousins is everywhere nowadays, with 'Maccy D's' being perhaps the most prolific and well known. Mcdonalds has quite a long history (longer than i expected) with the precursor to the fast food behemoth being a single 'mcdonalds bbq restaurant'. That was in 1940 but today there are countless Mcdonalds "Restaurants", Drive thru's and Kiosks dotted throughout the entirety of this little blue & ... Read the complete review

I am a fan of Mcdonalds, my partner likes KFC, so of course my first review will be for Mcdonalds lol!! I like the fact that Mcdonalds are very child friendly, the resturants have little chiild sized tables and some have those bead toy things for the little 'uns to play with :o) There is a wide varity of food and it pretty much caters for most people. From burgers such as the Big Mac with it's top secret sauce to the McChicken Sandwich, the Fillet'o'Fish to Deli items and salads. They also do a breakfast range which is available from 5.30am/6am up untill 10.30am in most resturants. They do a Pound Saver range where you can pick ... Read the complete review

McDonalds is a fast food restaurant which is world famous and has even had a documentary/ film made about it, which is called Supersize me. The title tells it all about the how unhealthy mcdonalds food can be. Although this is true in many cases, they have the most great tasting food around. Its fast and delicious ... maybe it doesnt look the most appealing to other age groups but it is well worth having a mcdonalds meal once in a while if your one to watch what you eat. I particularly go to mcdonalds for their breakfast service. They serve breakfast form half past 6 untill half past ten. I usually get a sausage and egg mcmuffin meal, which consists of a sausage ...
