Advantages: Compensation When you Moan!

Disadvantages: Rubbish Food and Pathetic Service

After going to London on a day trip a few months ago we decided to go to Macdonalds for a quick lunch well we hoped it would be quick.
It was the Macdonalds near Trafalgar Square and the time we went was about 1330 on a Saturday lunch.
You would have thought they would have maximum staff on at that time but it looked like there were only 4 staff on the premises.
We had to que for 15 minutes before we even got served. The staff took our order and also the money and then went on to serve someone else. They never told us that there was a delay for the McChicken Sandwich and if they had of done we would have chosen something different.
Instead we waited a further 10 minutes where I could see the McChicken waiting on the shelf but she continued to serve other people.
I then noticed the manager so I went upto him to complain. He said "what do you expect at luch time" well yes i expect it to be busy but I don't expect rude staff and pathetic service at any time there is just no need for it.
Eventually we did get our food which was then only luke warm.
As I am a total complainer I though, right they have had it i'm not going to be spoken to like that by the manager so I wrote a letter to ther London head office forwarding a copy to Ronald himself in the USA.
Within 4 days I had a full apology and £20 in vouchers to spend as I please. Not bad really as most people would just forget about it but it just proves that complaining does pay!
