my suspicions were true! (McDonald's)

Advantages: mmmmmmm... at least it proved to the children i was right!!

Disadvantages: revolting food, appalling wait, rude staff, ethics of a **... the list goes on

I realise now that i am about to offend many people... for which I apologise.... please do not rate me down because of it. What I am about to write is my opinion and has its basis in my love of good food:

I detest McDonalds... there, I have said it now! I feel so much better!

My reasons for disliking this fast food chain are many... I do not like the food being the main but also the fact that they unashamedly play on parents by giving popular children's toys away with their happy meals.

It is this last reason that bizzarly lead me to recently use my local McDonalds... I had never taken my children to eat from a fast food place but felt that they had got to that age where peers would invite them out and to parties and that this may entail eating fast food (sharp intake of breath). So, i swallowed my pride and duly went to take them to a drive through (ok... i wasn't brave enough to go in the actual place but at least they would sample the food!!)

My experience? I have to say....never again!

To call it a drive thru is surely a joke....more likely 'place your order in this window then go and park for 20 mins....we may just get to you'

By the time we got our food it was cold and innedible...staff didn't seem to care about this at all. Understaffed? I don't honestly know....but the motivation was pretty appalling!

I can't say i was suprised to be honest.

So I can say from experience it was a unanimous thumbs down from me and the family for this one! (And I am so pleased :) )

Summary: Just don't do it (in my opinion!!!)
