Advantages: cheap, tasty

Disadvantages: bad for your health

Mcdonalds, possibly the most well know fast food joint over the globe along with the likes of Burger King, Pizza Hut and Subay and such like. But why is this?
Is it because of the cheap prices, tasty food and speed of service? Or is it simply because we are all secretly, or not secretly addicted to junk food?

Myself, I only started to eat McDonalds a few years back when I had to get a fast lunch one day. It was close by (as they always are) and cheap. I was pleasently suprised about how tasty the food actually was. Admittedly yes, I know its bad for me, but so are a lot of things these days.
Unfortunatly, that one day turned into another and another and so on... Soon I was having McDonalds once a week, sometimes more.

So what is it that they sell?
Well, if you dont know this, you obviously must have been living in a world of your own. McDonalds, is home to a variety of burgers ranging fromt he famous Big Mac, to things such as the quater pounder with cheese and the chicken legend.
They sell more than just bugers now though and have recently reformed thir menu to include things such as a variety of salads, options for children to have fruit and carrots with their dinners instead of fries (chips). i havent seen any child order a happy meal though that doesnt include chips, so im not too sure how well that is going!

McDonalds does have a mixed reputation, good in some ways but often it is reflected in a bad way due to health issues as risen in a documently film called 'supersized me'. this did put me off for a while, however I do still enjoy my weekly quater pounder meal (with water) :p

I wouldnt say I recommend going here as such as I need to stop going myself due to putting weight on, however it is convienient and they do seem to be literally everywhere!
