Advantages: none
Disadvantages: horrible veggie burgers
I'm sure if you are a meat-eater then Mcdonalds is a great place to go for a quick snack or meal but as a veggie it is lacking to say the least. Now-i'm not expecting a great deal of choices, obviously it is a burger restaurant but 2?
First option, the veggie deluxe burger, trust me there is nothing deluxe about it at all. You know when you have a burger and pick the vegetable bits off the top? well, i think they collect them at the end of the day, mince them up ,coat it in breadcrumbs and make these burgers out of them. they really are disgusting. The other option is the veggie deli which is basically two deluxe burgers in a bread roll.
Why can't they just take a normal veggie burger (quorn or soya) and chuck it in a bun a la big mac? surely it would be easier and cheaper for them to produce?
Anyway-rant over-would be interested to hear others opinions meat eaters or veggies.
Summary: If you're a veggie-stick to the fries!

- 29/12/08 It's not exactly an ideal place for vegetarians - surely buying even a veggie deluxe burger is still putting money in the pockets of serial animal slaughterers! |

- 29/12/08 I'm a veggie too and agree completely....with the exception of breakfast seeing that I love the egg muffin (the one that is just egg, obviously, no sausage or bacon ick). Other than pre-10:30am I avoid the place entirely - didn't even realise they had the delux back, for a long time it was only that sweaty excuse for a deli sandwich which, frankly, made me retch when I tried it. Were they to do the egg muffin all day...then it might be a different story. Perhaps there should be a web-campain...... |

- 28/12/08 Im a veggie, and i agree. I have never seen anywhere do the veggie delux and its a pretty rubbish veggie burger. In many states in America they don't do any veggie options.
Think ill stay at home and have a quorn one! |
