Advantages: Lovely food, quick & easy

Disadvantages: Not too healthy

As I get up and leave the house very early in the morning I often do not have time to eat breakfast. McDonald's however, if very convenient to pop into if I need some food! :) McDonalds starts serving their breakfast range from 7am up until 10:30am. This includes Egg McMuffin's, Sausage Egg McMuffin's, Bacon rolls. All breakfast meals come with a hash brown and a drink. As I have only had a McDonalds breakfast once, which was an egg Mcmuffin, I can say that it was nice :) However, I don't really think I would have it again as I would rather a bowl of cereal.

My favourite meal at McDonalds is definately McChicken sandwich's. I only eat Chicken so it's either that or chicken nuggets ( which are also very nice )! Others in my family tend to eat the burgers and wolf them down , so I can only assume after no complaints that they also really like the food served to them.

I often babysit my godson on a regular basis and now and again I will agree to allow him to have a Mcdonald's. He is four years old and the Happy Meal's are great for him. They have brought out a lot of healthy extras for the kids to go with their meal if you choose for them to have so. Instead of having chips they can have carrots a fruit bag and instead of the usual fizzy drinks you can now have organic milk, fruit shoot or Tropicana. However, this is a brilliant insentive I don't think my godson would appreciate his chips being swapped with carrots! I personally feel that this is excellent value for money. The packaging of the happy meal is also exciting, for children and it also includes a free toy which keeps them entertained whilst your eating your food.

Obviousuly the amount of Mcdonald's food does need to be limited. After all, even though it tastes so nice, like most nice tasting food it is not good for our health! McDonald's is a fast food restaraunt, the majority of the meals are high in calories, saturated fat and salt. Therefore I would only recommend McDonald's as a treat now and again.
