We all now exactly what I mean when I say ‘Mc Donald’s’, this further implies the popularity of the restaurants and how they have, in a way TAKEN OVER THE WORLD.

Basically, for those who have been hibernating for the last 20 years, Mc Donald’s is an American fast food chain that has established itself here in the United Kingdom as, well as many other countries of the world.

SO WHY HAS THIS CHAIN BECOME SO POPULAR?

Basically, you can walk into Mc Donald’s at any time of the day and get a meal made up in very little time indeed. Service in Mc Donald’s is very quick; most important in out very hectic lives. Each meal only costing between about £2.99 and £3.99 depending on which size you want (Regular, Large and Super Size).

SO IS THE FOOD ANY GOOD?

The food in Mc Donald’s in my opinion isn’t too bad. Basically the same rule applies ‘You get what you pay for”. A meal containing a large burger, chips and a soft drink isn’t bad for £2.99. Though there isn’t any guarantees of the quality of the meat, be that chicken or beef; and funny though it is, there’s now way of telling if they really have put ‘chicken muck’ in the Mc chicken sandwich. Something that I have always found when eating at Mc Donald’s, is that when I came out from having my meal I still feel hungry, chips are also heavily salted so that you get a larger drink and so pay more.

WHAT’S THE SERVICE LIKE?

As I have said at the beginning of my opinion, service is excellent, mainly due to the lack of quality of the meals. Large amounts are left sitting on heated shelves, or are quickly cooked at very high temperature from frozen, ready to eat, (or so they say) in a couple of minutes.

HOWS THE LAYOUT OF THE RESTAURANT

Very good layout and there are usually very clean. Most Mc Donald’s are heavily pouted with screaming kids, b
ins are provided and staff sweet regularly. There is usually a large amount of litter left outside which isn’t cleaned up

ACCESSIBILITY

There are masses and masses of Mc Donald’s restaurants in the U.K, everywhere you go you will find one especially on a motorway trip. Car parks are large and many restaurants have a ‘Drive-through’ facility. This means that you can pull up at a window outside MC Donald’s and get any food you like, straight to your car, brilliant if you on a long trip or in a rush. They even give you, asort of egg cartons to hold your drinks in while travelling, a brilliant idea.

EMPLOYMENT

In my opinion, (and I gather this from many friends that have worked in local Mc Donald’s) Mc Donald’s is a terrible place to work in. You will get very little pay, most probably the minimum wage. And believe me, you will be worked constantly in hot sweaty conditions and expected to work overtime regularly. NOT A GOOD IDEA. Not unless you homeless and need the money.

Very quick, hassle free and easy.
Food isn’t to bad.
Good for kids.
Good for a job if your stuck.
Very cheap

MC DONALDS ISN’T;

A quality resteraunt
For the older folk.
Very Nourishing
A good place to work
