Disadvantages: Poor Food, Poor Staff, Poor Outlets
When I was younger, I loved McDonalds. I'd always pester my parents for a happy meal or a Big Mac. Not anymore!
Just a few months ago, I went into the McDonalds outlet in Aylesbury, Southern England. After waiting literally hours in queues of impatient people, I finally got to order. Just as I had conifrmed what I wanted, one of the loose ceiling tiles fell right on top of me and another customer. It also fell all over the other customer's food. I wasn't in the mood for making a big deal, but the other male was. He shouted angrily, but I could fully understand what he felt.
The hopeless teens just murmered "Oh, there must be a leak up in the loft." No apology or anything. The man demanded a refund, but got no such thing. He eventually just stormed out in fury, covered in dusty bits of god knows what that had just fallen. I seriously hope he took legal action.
Since that day, I've been totally apaulled with McDonalds and it's lousy staff and service.
I've compared their products with that of Burger Kings, and there's an obvious diiference between the two:
McDonalds- Sloppy, cold, sometimes hardly made chips just carelessly thrown into a brown bag. Burger's which look uncooked and taste like cardboard. Coke which I've found to be flat on several occasions and chicken nuggets which have about 0.0001% actual chicken in it.
Burger King- Usually warm, hard and crunchy satisfying chips. Burger's with brilliant flavour, cooked properley. The coke's are always fizzy and chilled, and the chicken nuggets have much more actual chicken in.
Despite having many McDonald's outlets around where I live, I never go in even for one minute. Some other bad points about it are: The toilet's always have an awful stench and I always find the chain has never been flushed! and as everyone is aware of, the amount of screaming kids filling up and getting right in your
I must just say one positive thing though, the McFlurry's are heaven to try (but they're not exactly original and they cost £1!
If there's a McDonalds and a Burger King next to each other, you know what to choose!
