If you are looking for a meal for under £10 and you like chcken then you should consider Nando as an option. I have noticed that they have spread out now and are no longer just a London based food outlet, they are certainly more up market than Kentucky Fried Chicken but still quite affordable and while I would not describe them as fast food I do find the service to be fast in the one in Milton Keynes that I have visited.

The menu is dominated by chicken and the speciality is their Piri Piri Chicken which is a nice spicey sauce that covers the chicken and gives it a nice fruity bite to the flavour. I must admit I even add it to my fries or if I'm being healthy and going for rice. They also do some nice side salads as well. The quality of the chicken is very good, nice and succulent and it is not dry like you get in some places.

The service has always been good in my experience and I like the simplistic cantena style of the decor with the use of wood in the seating and tables rather than the horrible plastic of the fast foood venues.
