Nandos chicken is the best (Nandos)

Advantages: great food, speedy service, clean restaurants

Disadvantages: none really unless you don't like chicken

If you love spicy chicken, like your food served quickly and enjoy eating with your hands then Nandos is the place for you. Nandos is a chain of restaurants famous for their chicken which you can choose the hotness of depending upon how like it, I think I'm correct in saying it's South African, although I know there is a Portuguese influence too. If you were to compare it to another restaurant I'd say it quite like Kentucky Fried Chicken because you have to order the food yourself at the till and they serve the food very quickly, the difference is that you get your own table and they food is served on plates, that's basically it. I do believe that the food is a lot nicer than KFC, the chicken is a lot less greasy and there's more to it, it's more of a meal if you like.

The staff at Nandos are very good although because of the design of the restaurant you have very little contact with them. You order your food at the beginning and pay for it too, then a waiter or waitress will bring your food to the table and that's it, there's none of this 'can I have the pill please' and you don't need to leave a tip. The food is also extremely reasonably priced and I think I'm correct in saying that you get free refills on soft drinks, I haven't been for quite a while you see. There is also a takeaway service available, again making it very similar to KFC!

I do like Nandos, mainly because I love fried chicken, but the menu is very limited. They could expand it a little more I think and maybe offer a larger selection of meat dishes; this would increase people's interest in it I think, although Nandos are already very popular. Well recommended.
