I won't be rushing back to Nando's! (Nandos)

Advantages: Middlesbrough restaurant is ideally located for a post-film meal

Disadvantages: Portions too small, service at this restaurant was dreadful

We (my husband, myself and our daughter who was five years old at the time) dined at Nando's in Middlesbough after seeing a film at the Cineworld cinema next door. And it is a safe bet that we won't be going back there again! Many of my friends had dined there and had given the place such great reviews that we decided to give it a try. Well that's the last time I listen to restaurant reviews from my friends! The food was pretty bad, but oh my the service was so much worse! The waitress who took our order was blatantly rude and obviously did not want to be there. And by this point neither did we, having been seated right at the back next to the toilets! There was very little on the menu suitable for a vegetarian (which i am) and the portion of chicken my carnivore husband received was far too small for his man-sized appetite! To be fair, maybe other Nando's restaurants are okay and we may have just had a bad experience with this one. I don't intend to test that theory out for myself though!

Summary: I wouldn't recommend eating at this restaurant unless you enjoy terrible service and tiny portions!
