Advantages: Tasty Food.

Disadvantages: Not for people who want something other than chicken.

I love Nando's. It's as simple as that really. I've been in love with it from the very first day I went there. There's not what most people would call a wide range of dishes on the menu. They sell chicken. And lots of it. You can get one steak dish and two different types of 'veggie' dishes but thats it. If you don't like chicken, don't bother.

Nando's chicken can be ordered in six different levels of flavour: 'plain', 'lemon & herb', 'mango & lime', 'medium', 'hot' and 'extra hot'. I normally stick with either medium or hot, depending on what mood I'm in. I have never been brave enough to try 'extra hot' but I would imagine it to be insanely hot, especially considering the fact that 'hot' is pretty damn hot.

Most meals come with at least one side order. You can choose from chips, spicy rice, coleslaw, corn on the cob, garlic bread and a few other extras.

One of the best things about Nando's is that once you have purchased a soft-drink, it is re-fillable for free for the rest of your visit. You just need to fill up your own glass at the drinks machine. For someone like me, who drinks alot whilst eating, this is great.

The quality of food at Nando's is always very good. They use fresh chickens (and are proud of that fact, this information is displayed on their menus and on their website) and their sides are always tasty.

As for price, a meal for two, with drinks and sides usually comes in at around twenty pound so its good value for money and certainly a better quality alternative to take-away.

The customer service at Nando's is also usually very good, there has been some instances where they've not been as helpful as usual but they can get very very busy and on occassion, I have had to wait up to thirty minutes for a table. But, as I say, its usually worth it.

Summary: Not a wide ranging menu but if you like chicken, this is the place fo you.
