Nandos is cheap and quick which...if your anything like me....will probably make you think poor service and bad food. But Nandos has managed to find the right balance in offering a casual tasty meal without breaking the bank.

What i love about nandos is the spanish atmosphere. Well decorated Nandos often plays spanish music to get you in the mood. Unlike most restraunts you go to the till to order your food and pay there. They will then bring it to the table when its cooked. This service offers a laid back no rush approach.

The menu focuses mainly on chicken which, if your vegetarian like me , might seem a bit daunting. However they offer a very tasty buger and pitta bread and have recently added a spicy bean burger as well. On top of this there are a number of tasty fun sides from humous and pitta bread dip, corn on the cob, chips and coleslaw.

What is really great is that when you order you have the choice of how spicy you want your meal so if you don't like things hot then you can have no or minimal spice. If you like things very hot though you can go all out!!

The prices are reasonable and for a meal with drink your looking at under £10. On top of that they also offer a loyalty card which is a definite must! Each time you buy a meal you get a stamp then once you've reached three yiou get a quarter chicken free, another 3 meals and you get a half chicken free and so on. A top tip is to say your vegetarian as you'll get a lot more for free than just chicken!!

I think the main thing that lets Nandos down is their puddings. They have only a few on offer and they are all very very small, nothing special and very over priced!!

Another plus though is their refillable drinks system and also the bottomless yoghurt - both ways to get more for your money.

Nandos has a lot to offer and is a really great place to eat especially on a budget. They also accomodate large groups so is a great place to go for a party.

Summary: nandos is a great way to eat tasty food on a budget!
