First date -> (Nandos)

Advantages: Food, ambience, pay routine Disadvantages: none If you are taking a girl out for the first time and fancy some food because the cinema is too quiet and you can't really get to know each other unless you were there for casual making out in the back row (personal experience :p) or find bowling embarrassing to take part in, in front of your new romance, and a shopping trip in London is too serious look no further than Nando's. I did not actually know that the origin of Nando's was Portuguese but this adds to the vogue of the restaurant. It is unique in that a waiter/waitress does not come to your table to ask for your order. When you have been seated and have appraised the menu you approach the bar at the front of the restaurant and place your order and pay for it which is then brought over to you. This is advantageous on two scales, one you do not pay a tip and two, you are not constantly hassled to make a decision you can reflect, talk and resolve in your attire. The food is delightful and the pittas and chicken served are great too. You can choose from a variety of spices to place with your menu, mild, medium and hot. I am a mild fan and love the lemon and herb spice with my chicken pitta and to finish it off a slice of pineapple too, receives top marks. The vibe of the eating place is pleasant and exotic and all in all a great place and stepping stone for a first date! Summary: Brilliant first date |
